Protocols are procedures that can be activated in specific scenarios in the facility to help the laboratory to be kept under control.
Overview
There are Two different types of protocols in Facility Roleplay, minor protocols have little but still considerable effect on the facility operations, for example, tablet protocols. However, there is also the existence of other protocols such as, protocol october, november, and december.
These month-named protocols have a high impact on the facility operation and are only activated on extreme scenarios such as: Riots, Outbreaks, Loss of the facility.
Tablet Protocols
Tablets Protocols are a type of protocols that can be activated by Security Branch Commander, Team Oversight, Facility Oversight on their tablets in the tab "Protocols".
Tablet Protocols have a cooldown of 30 minutes and can be activated at any time.
Riot Protocol
Riot Protocol lasts 3 minutes, it increases the amount of Tear Gas Grenades stock in Garcia and allows Lockdown to be activated in RSHB.
Raid Protocol
Raid protocol activates motion-sensors in the Vents system for 1 minute, so, any hostile opening a vent, will give their position to every FRU.
Decontamination Protocol
Makes all damage to infecteds 2x on the specific chosen area: RSHB, Upper Research, Lower Research.
Protocol October
Protocol October is divided in 2 parts during the Heavy Riot. A vote starts after the riot reaches heavy and stays with more than 3 rioters active once the timer ends, this gives Administrative Committee and Facility Oversight the option to vote if it should be authorized.
Phase 1
Once Authorized, Phase 1 starts and allows the use of lethal force by Centum Forces against Research Subjects to try to control the riot and make it die down.
Phase 2
If the timer runs out again, Domestic Security Agency is deployed and has to help to control the riot, after 5 minutes, the timer ends and the riot dies down, once the event ends, so does the deployment.
Protocol November
Protocol November can be activated by Facility Oversight or Biohazard Containment Unit to seal the sector with the most amount of Infecteds by 2 minutes and 30 seconds, Domestic Security Agency and Biohazard Containment Unit are guided to the sector and anyone inside it is marked TERMINATE for that life.
Protocol December
Protocol December is the last resort scenario to prevent the spread of viruses after the facility has lost control, it seals the facility and authorizes a Bunker-Buster Airstrike to eliminate any living organism in Centum Laboratories
However, due to it's insane nature, it is only activated in the event of the failure to clear out all infections(5 or more infecteds alive) after the Domestic Security Agency deployment and attempt to clear them(5 minutes).
Failure of containment will lead to the sealing of the facility, the ventilation system will be shut down and the main entrance doors sealed, after which will lead to the the airstrike. However, the facility personnel will have 3 minutes to escape the facility(Through Lower-Sector Tunnels) and head to the evacuation point outside and then, after airstrike happens, Domestic Security Agency deployment is cancelled and all players reset back to their spawn.
