Overview
Security Order Detachment 26 (D26), is the fourth subteam in the Centum Security progression chain. Players must prestige the Special Tactics Unit subteam before gaining access. It has a player limit of 3 and provides AC-3 clearance.
Detachment 26 is a specialist subteam within Centum Security. Made for long engagements in tight corridors, it's widely considered as one of easiest subteams to use in combat, having good defenses, regenerating armor, armor penetration, powerful weaponry, and access to the Radial Scanner that can rival that of a Team Oversight’s Extrasensory Vision.
Detachment 26 was sent by Federal Homeland Security as a response to threats posed by Research Subject riots as well as incursions brought on by terrorist organizations. Compared to other subteams of Centum Security, Detachment 26 is possibly be the most powerful.
Members earn a salary of 180NCD$ per pay cycle, a significant increase over the base Centum Security rate of 80.
Lore
"Security Order Detachment 26, or D26, was established by Federal Homeland Security as a strict enforcement division for managing hostile Research Subjects. Seeing the Centum Board as unable to contain the growing number of disturbances and socio-political issues within subject housing facilities, Homeland deployed D26 to bring order through any and all means necessary"
"Their mandate includes the use of maximum force, coercive interrogation methods, and selective subject reassignment protocols. D26 operates under broader authority than standard security, and their presence within the facility is intended to discourage organized resistance before it begins."
Requirements
- Prestige the Special Tactics Unit subteam and spend 1,000 Prestige Points.
